MOVE Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built childcare facility delivered within the Holt redevelopment in ACT, involving earthworks, a new two-storey building, retaining walls, landscaping, and a new carpark. Designed around a challenging sloping site, the project created a modern and functional early learning environment focused on children’s wellbeing, safety, and development.

The centre features flexible learning spaces, child-friendly amenities, a commercial kitchen, lift access, modern security systems, and a 40kW solar system. A key feature of the project is the custom outdoor playground, incorporating natural timber play structures, synthetic turf areas, sandpits, and bike loops designed to encourage active and imaginative play.

Pier Projects worked closely with the client and consultants to overcome complex structural, waterproofing, and site access challenges while maintaining high quality and safety standards throughout delivery. Completed ahead of schedule and within budget, the project demonstrates Pier Projects’ capability in delivering complex childcare and educational facilities.
